Texas A&M University (TAMU) invites nominations and applications for the next Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS). This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic leader to harness the strengths of one of the top schools of veterinary medicine in the world. The next Dean will build upon the success of a large, vibrant, and diverse College distinguished by outstanding students and faculty, innovative academic curricula at the undergraduate, graduate and professional level, a dynamic new DVM curriculum, outstanding clinical and basic research programs, and new state-of-the-art facilities. The CVMBS’s size, reputation for excellence, and connection to industries of vital importance to the state of Texas make this a singular opportunity to impact the veterinary profession, the research enterprise, the economy, and animal and human health on a global scale. The Dean will work closely with faculty, staff, and university leadership in articulating priorities and ambitions for the College across its teaching, research, and service missions while seizing opportunities to collaborate across a campus and university system with a comprehensive array of colleges.
